“Defenders Of The Triforce” Is A Real-Life Zelda Adventure
If you have yet to be introduced to the growing trend of escape rooms, they’re enclosures where groups of people are locked into a room for one hour and have to search the place for clues to escape. It’s not unlike living a video game, which is a big part of the appeal (plus, the worst that can happen is failing to solve the puzzle before time expires….then you’re just let out, with your punishment being failure). Nintendo’s Zelda series would fit the escape room concept like a glove, wouldn’t it? They thought so as well, and teamed up with SCRAP (one of the companies that popularized the escape room trend) to introduce Defenders of the Triforce, a real-life dungeon crawler that will tour eight cities across the US. Defenders of the Triforce will be different than escape rooms that have been tried in the past. For one thing, it won’t be a ROOM…more like a large area, with multiple teams competing to find the solution at the same time.
