My latest interview subject, Debbie D, was first mentioned to me by our mutual friend Deborah Dutch when I interviewed her in 2020. Two years or so later, I would meet Debbie D at the Chiller Theatre convention, and I said I would reach out to her about an interview. When I saw her IMDB page, though, I was taken aback by her many credits, and I knew that I would need time to formulate the right questions.
Twice a year, the Chiller Theatre convention is held in Parsippany, NJ. I go to both shows, the one in April and the one in October, and I always have fun at every Chiller I go to. I love meeting the stars at the show, and I’ve made a lot of friends in terms of attendees and Chiller staff as well. While the memories are still relatively fresh in my mind, I wanted to do a recap of the October 2022 Chiller Theatre convention.
The most recent installment of the Chiller Theatre convention happened this past April of 2022, and I was lucky enough to attend the show for two days. I always enjoy attending Chiller, and of the three April Chillers I’ve attended so far, the 2022 show has been my best so far. All the stars I met were friendly, and as I’ve been very active as a participant and moderator on the Chiller Theatre Fans Facebook group, a lot of people recognized me.
