Curse Of Chucky Premieres October 3
Jason, Freddy and Michael Myers are all sitting around with stalled careers. But Chucky, the ginger doll possessed by a maniacal madman, has become the only character from the golden age of slashers to continue appearing in films to this day, without a single reboot. This Halloween he’ll star in his seventh movie, Curse of Chucky. The first trailer was released this morning. We’ll get to Chucky X: Adventures In Space eventually. Chucky movies are pretty much aimed at the direct-to-video market these days — this one won’t even get a theatrical release. What it does have going for it, though, is a reunion of all the characters and elements from Chucky films past. The original protagonist of the Child’s Play trilogy, Andy Barclay, returns in this movie. So does Tiffany, Chucky’s plastic galpal from when he took over the series. Of course you can’t have Chucky without his one and only voice actor, Brad Dourif, supplying the pipes — and this time, the central character of Curse of Chucky
