Halo Wars 2, which launches today on Windows 10 and Xbox One, has no competitive ranking system for its multiplayer component. Instead, players with only have the opportunity to play in social and unranked playlists online.
Rome: Total War, one of the most highly acclaimed entries in the long-running strategy series, is coming to iPad for the very first time. An announcement trailer was released for the game, along with information that the port will be handled by Feral Interactive rather than the original developers Creative Assembly.

The sequel to fan-favorite RTS Halo Wars is set to launch February 21, 2017, according to 343 Industries. As well as supporting cross-play through the new Play Anywhere program, the game will also come in two separate versions – a Standard and Deluxe Edition. It will also offer a Season Pass for additional downloadable content.
The next instalment in the Total War series it set to be a first for Creative Assembly, with the game focusing on the time of Attila the Hun. In a press release today the developers announced that the new title, Total War: Attila, would be set after Rome has fallen and is due to hit store shelves sometime in 2015.
Sega announced today that Alien: Isolation, a upcoming survival-horror game by The Creative Assembly, will be receiving a six month DLC season pass which will allow players to access five expansion packs to the recently announced survivor mode.
The “Creating the Cast” trailer for Alien: Isolation, released Friday, is closer akin to a director’s promotional diary depicting their creative process than it is a game trailer trying to get players hyped for the new title. But longtime fans of the Alien franchise will probably appreciate the almost cinematic treatment by which The Creative Assembly is handling the new Alien game.

That’s right, the makers of the Total War series have stated that they are making their next Total War game. Their previous title, Total War: Shogun 2 has tremendous success along with every other title in the franchise. Creative Assembly’s Studio Director, Tim Heaton said in a Eurogamer interview that they were finishing Total War: Shogun, “Absolutely, we’re on the next.”
