Most people at this moment associate Thailand with either romantic comedies or BL dramas. Thai Cinema has more to offer other than good-looking people in love. I had my fair share of Thai horrors and Thrillers before and some of them are so good they got a Hollywood remake. Most Asian horrors just go the tame jump scares to get a wider age Audience. Thai horrors and thrillers are not afraid to utilize gore. I am not talking about the campy gore you see in Japanese movies. The Thai Style of cinematic violence will give you disturbing dread. Thailand has the potential to follow the steps of South Korea to become internationally mainstream. There is already a growing cult following in the West. A Thai TV Network owning Billionaire buying Miss Universe could be the early signs of future Thai Domination.
