Shuichi Shigeno is probably best known for Initial D, the iconic street racing manga he wrote and drew for nearly 20 years. Four years after retiring Initial D, Shigeno stated focusing on a new story, albeit with similar themes: MF Ghost, which began in 2017. It’s still running today, serialized in the pages of Weekly Young Magazine, and its book collections have sold over 2.7 million copies. It’s about time MF Ghost showed up in America, don’t you think?

Kodansha announced today that, in honor of the Attack on Titan anime running its final season, the number of volumes in the manga series has been temporarily expanded on ComiXology. As of now, anyone with a ComiXology Unlimited or Kindle Unlimited subscription can read AoT up to Volume 22 free of charge.

That’s why there is usually a delay between the time a 32-page issue comes out in print and the time it becomes available with on-demand subscription services like Comixology.
As you all know by now, actor Chadwick Boseman tragically passed away last weekend after a nearly five-year battle with colon cancer. Boseman chose to tell no one about his illness and keep working as long as he could. It’s behavior fitting of a true king, which is why Boseman’s most iconic role fits him so well: the Marvel superhero Black Panther.
The Seven Deadly Sins manga series ended today, with chapter #346 as its send-off. To mark this impressive accomplishment Kodansha and Nakaba Suzuki have announced a sequel series to The Seven Deadly Sins manga, which is tentatively titled The Four Knights of the Apocalypse. More details for the sequel series will be revealed at a later date.

ComiXology, the leading digital comics delivery platform, announced at its Comic-Con panel it is moving to a model without required DRM (Digital Rights Management).
