First Trailer For The New Charlie’s Angels
The world has changed quite a bit in the forty years since Charlie’s Angels first became a hit. Yet they still pop up, over and over and over…no matter which decade it is, you will always meet three kickboxing karate-kicking women who follow the commands of a radio speaker. The biggest success post-Farrah Era has been Drew Barrymore’s blindingly campy take that appeared in the late 90s and early 2000s, which saw Barrymore starring in the movie herself alongside Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu. Attempts to bring back Charlie’s Angels on TV haven’t fared as well. Now Elizabeth Banks holds the rights to the Angels, and she’s following Barrymore’s path by directing and starring in a big-screen picture adaption — but not as an Angel. Banks is going to be this new movie’s Bosley.
