Castlevania Animated Series Coming This Year
Another classic video game property is getting the TV treatment. But this time, it’s in the form of Castlevania, and it will be airing on Netflix this year. Early indications are that this will be a faithful adaptation of the series, as the plot is about “the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself.” IGN actually got to speak with producer Adi Shankar about the animated series, and the producer notes that the show will not hold back on what made Castlevania so special.
