For years, Activision has hosted their own eSports tournament for Call of Duty, called the Call of Duty World League Championship. Earlier this year, they announced they’d be changing things up a bit…that Call of Duty Esports would expand into a city-based franchise league, with games held in home markets around the globe. Those plans were solidified when Activision formally announced the Call of Duty League earlier this month. Now the company has revealed more about how the revamped league will work.
