Clear your schedule this Saturday for a reunion with some old pals. Blizzard announced a Diablo 2 remaster was in the works last February, and a mere two months later, the game is already in a test-worthy state. What do you have to do to get your hands on this early version — preorder the game? Spam your friends’ social media accounts? Nay, the only requirement is that you must have signed up on the Diablo website to receive tests like this.
Blizzard Entertanment’s Overwatch certainly doesn’t need extra promotion. Whenever a new character is introduced, the fans do the promoting for Blizzard, creating thousands of fanarts and flooding the Internet with them in 24 hours. The co-op team shooter is ingeniously built with Internet culture in mind, introducing colorful characters while giving you JUST enough story to spin your imagination and create your own narratives.
Blizzard creates some very interesting worlds, and even the simple ones like Hearthstone have tons of detail and lore for you to enjoy. And one of the ways Blizzard likes showing their worlds off is through animated shorts. And at Gamescome 2017, they decided to reveal a new short for Hearthstone, one that takes a very Disney/Pixar feel…
Recently, Heroes of the Storm revealed that World of Warcraft villain Kel’Thuzad would be arriving in Heroes of the Storm via a special event. And now, during Gamescom, Blizzard has released a spotlight trailer for Kel’Thuzad, and it shows off everything you need to know about him before he arrives in game for you to play.
Gamescom is already landing some big news, including one that Overwatch will be getting a new map via Junkertown. This place was actually the home to Junkrat and Roadhog, and now is being overrun by a band of Junkers (and their queen) that you now have to deal with.
Video games are meant to be fantastic and beyond the scope of reality in many ways. However, that doesn’t mean that the teams that makes these games don’t know the limits of what to put in them. Take for example, Overwatch. The MOBA shooter has a vast roster of characters that definitely defy reality, but apparently, they’ve cut out characters that breaks that reality a little too much. Director for the game Jeff Kaplan talked with Gamespot and revealed one Hero that just couldn’t be put in:
Overwatch is a shooter MOBA title that has you take control of a menagerie of heroes. These heroes are all unique, and as such, developer Blizzard has to constantly update and tweak the characters in order to ensure that everything is balanced.
Are you seeking adventure and fame with a dash of danger? Azeroth’s finest scholars and explorers have today begun preparing for Journey to Un’Goro, the new expansion coming to Hearthstone, Blizzard Entertainment’s smash-hit digital card game, in April. Those brave or at least curious enough to embark on an expedition to a land of primordial wonder will encounter ancient elementals, frightening flora, and some of the fiercest predators to ever inhabit Azeroth—all while unearthing 135 new Hearthstone cards to add to their collections.
Plenty of people have been murmuring about a new hearthstone expansion through Reddit and the interwebs in general. I want to make it very clear to you that no one knows EXACTLY whats going on, and that ultimately. this is just my conjecture and I do not speak for Hearthstone but; Listen up, I did some digging around on the Hearthstone leaks and figured it all out The first leaked card I stumbled upon was THE BEAST. I think it’s finally about time we got a beast card that is just a nondescript beast. But if you had to personify a beast what would you think of? I myself would think of something very hairy and with more than one mouth, cat like reflexes and the speed of Sonic the Hedgehog. Seems like Blizzard is going with DINOSAURS for the new hearthstone expansion. All signs point to it. Fifty million Elvis fans can’t be wrong, right?! Here’s a sneak preview of a legendary that got leaked. THE BEAST!
I’m not totally convinced though that this is the way Blizzard is going with this. As some of the murmurs are just hoaxes. This supposedly “leaked” card I came across while browsing through. Seems legit. But the picture is pathetic. So what is going on here? Is Blizzard really making a dinosaur themed expansion? I sure hope so! I hope there is a silly Ian Malcolm themed card. Something like “Dr. Malcolm” and it is just some kind of Jeff Goldblum looking curly haired tight pants- well you know the rest. Man I really hate Jeff Goldblum. Anyway, I digress, Here is a picture of one of the “new” “leaked” cards I found on Reddit. But the picture is blurry so I don’t know if I believe it, see for yourself:
Hmmm. Now that I look at the other one it does seem a little low quality. Well now I don’t know what to think. So I dive deeper yet into the Reddit pile and what do I Find? This little Gem
Wowzers. OK So what have we learned and what is truth and what is fact? Here’s the scoop. According to Forbes someone in the voice acting department for Hearthstone leaked details about the upcoming expansion which are:
1. “The new Adventure for Hearthstone will be called “Lost Secrets of Un’Goro,” and it will be dinosaur-themed”
2. “judging by the characters the actress says she’s voiced” we can expect to see the following cards or something related to them: Golakka Crawler Pterodactyl, Anklesaur, Hydra, Brontosaurus
3. At the end of this month, February, Blizzard will be balancing out some cards, of which they have not decided yet.
So that’s that. Be on the lookout for announcements from Blizzard any day now, cards getting changed at the end of the month, and probably some dinosaur themed cards coming our way around April maybe?

A player in Overwatch has reached the maximum level available in the game. While TaZzerk is not the first player to do so, he does seem to be the only user to have reached the milestone without resorting to account sharing.
