In the upcoming Uprising DLC, players will be able to experience an entirely new survival-horror, zombie adventure through, “Mob of the Dead”. Players will find four prohibition-era mobsters, Billy Handsome (Ray Liotta), Al “The Weasel” Arlington (Joe Pantoliano), Salvatore “Sal” DeLuca (Chazz Palmentiri), and Michael “Finn” O’Leary (Madsen) serving time in Alcatraz Prison. When plans to break out of Alcatraz are disrupted by the undead, the inmates will have to rely on their skills with firearms, blunt instruments and other improvised weaponry to battle the zombie infestation on the island. Players will have to work their way through steel cells and concrete buildings while fighting off zombified prisoners and guards. According to Activision, if a player becomes a victim, a new feature called, “Purgatory” will send players to the afterlife.

As a piece of advertising for the Black Ops II Revolution map pack, they certainly could have been far less inventive than this. Thankfully we get a pretty interesting little trailer even if the footage is rather sparse. Considering that this is the first map pack in CoD history to come with a new weapon and a new zombies mode, I just might pick this up. Check out the trailer below.
Finally we get a real look at what we can expect from the upcoming Zombies game mode that’ll ship with Black Ops 2. We already know that Zombies will now support up to 8 players and twice as many shambling undead on screen at once. It also appears that Zombies has at least one game mode where you’ll actually be able to move between maps from location to location and there might even be a sort of win state if you can complete them all. Either way, I’m excited. Check it out below.
Call of Duty Black Ops II takes Call of Duty experience to both the past and the future. The game connects with its predecessors with the plot set in 1970s and introduces some never-seen-before situations with by taking the plot to 2025. In very short, the entire game plot can be described as a war between the US and China over rare earth elements that replace oil as prime natural resource. In the war, the US faces the destructiveness of its own technology which has been hacked and corrupt through cyber attack. Seven things about the new Black Ops 2 trailers are mentioned here.
The clearest sign yet that Activision’s upcoming near-future FPS is heading to Wii U…
Right on schedule is the long awaited Multiplayer Reveal trailer for Black Ops 2. The game looks as slick and fast paced as ever but, dare I say, I’m far more interested in the campaign this time around. I’ve bashed CoD for quite some time now for its unwillingness to change, but given the new time period, writer, non-linear campaign and body jumping RTS missions, I think I’ll be giving it a shot again this year. Anyways, check out the trailer below and give us your thoughts on it. One way or another, I’m sure it’ll be an interesting conversation.
