If you venture into a store today, whether brick-and-mortar or virtual, it will very likely have a Black Friday sale going. Free League, the tabletop gaming manufacturer we report on all the time, is no different. Starting today and running through November 29, all of Free League’s most popular offerings are 50 percent off.
We’ve spent a lot of digital acreage in 2020 talking about Free League’s RPGs and other books…and if one or more of them interests you, now might be the time to act. Free League has launched a Black Friday Sale that slashes the prices of most of their core rulebooks by 50%.
You’ll never guess what Nintendo is offering for its Black Friday sale. You’ll never guess in a million years! ….wait, did you just say “Mario Kart 8 Bundle”? How did you do that?
It would be easier to cover what ISN’T on sale this evening as Nintendo just launched a gigantic eShop sale. The discounts are mostly for the Switch, but there are also some offerings for 3DS owners. The nice thing about the below list is that you have some time to look it over…most of these prices will remain in effect for one week, until December 4.
A few days ago we reported on Gamestop’s original Black Friday circular. They have now come out with a more up-to-date flyer that has what the original didn’t — specifics on what will be on sale during the day itself. Who knows how many Thanksgivings Gamestop is going to stick around for, but they’re here for this one…kind of.
It took longer than usual, but we finally heard from Wal-Mart regarding their plans for Black Friday. They’re behind the other retailers in punctuality, so let’s see if they can make it up in deals.
It didn’t take long for Best Buy to respond to Target’s deliberate leaking of their Black Friday sale prices. They are appropriately competitive and in some cases Target has been one-upped. The one thing we can’t determine are the price of the XBox One bundles. There are three offered here, but their prices are stuck in perpetual “load” mode for us on the page (here, you try).
We never thought we’d say this, but it seems a bit late for the Black Friday circulars to JUST NOW be coming out. In previous years these sheets have leaked before Halloween hit. The reason is, Black Friday itself is late as well — Thanksgiving doesn’t occur until the 28th this year. Here’s what everyone’s offering…
Everyone has video game deals up for Black Friday, including game companies themselves. Square Enix is offering some deep discounts this weekend if you purchase any of their games through their own website’s store. Some physical games have received discounts up to 75% off, while digital titles have been reduced as far as 85%. Here are the highlights from Square…
Ah, the NEOGEO. It was an arcade machine AND the world’s most expensive home console in one! It was also the exclusive machine of game developer SNK, who packed its lineup with some of the greatest arcade shooters and fighters of all time.
Gamestop actually waited until the weekend before Black Friday itself to reveal what games they’re discounting and what the prices are. It’s late notice, but it arrived at least. Here’s what you can get from them.
