Black Desert Online now has 10 million registered users worldwide! And to celebrate, the action MMORPG is launching a special new deal for newcomers. Normally one has to pay a fee to access the game past the one-week trial period….but for the next two weeks, there’s a way to bypass that rule. Between now and the time the offer expires, you must start a new account, then level your character up to Level 56. Once you reach 56, an Awakening Quest will be offered. If that quest is completed before your trial ends, you’ve got a Black Desert Online account, free of charge. It’s the Starters Package that normally costs $9.99. Today, the Musa and Maehwa classes both awaken in Black Desert Online, gaining fearsome new weapons and abilities to make the speedy pair an even greater threat. You can check out a new trailer featuring the two characters below. The Musa can now switch to the Crescent Blade, which is reminiscent of a polearm and capable of large sweeping attacks to rapidly clear the battlefield of anyone standing in the way. The Maehwa  unlocks the Kerispear, a long-bladed spear weapon, which she uses to unleash a series of devastating piercing attacks. Combining their high agility with the power of these new Awakening weapons, the Musa and Maehwa  will take their respective combat styles to new heights. This week the Ranger unlocks her true potential and awakens, claiming the last gift of the Goddess: the Kamasylven Sword in Black Desert Online. Though she is already light on her feet, this weapon will allow her to move like the wind, slicing down her foes or leaping away to pierce them with her deadly aim. The introduction of the Kamasylven Sword not only increases her versatility on the battlefield, but grants her a new level of control over her enemies. The second of the bi-weekly Class Awakening rollout is here in Black Desert Online, this time bringing the Sorceress to the front of the fray. The Sorceress’ Awakening weapon is an imposing Scythe that allows her to engage multiple foes and create veritable whirlwinds of destruction. Just like the Warrior’s Greatsword, the Sorceress will gain access to the Scythe after reaching level 55.
