Preorder Beta Announced For Warhammer: Chaosbane

The next Warhammer game is on the way! Warhammer: Chaosbane is now on track for a June 4 general release, but you can start playing earlier than that if you really want to. An early access beta has been announced for those who preorder the game on their machine of choice. What content awaits them is still under wraps, but in addition to exclusive early access, these early birds will receive four legendary crates and an experience bonus active for the entirety of the character’s progression. Preorders for Warhammer: Chaosbane are officially open today on the XBox Store, and will open tomorrow on the PS Store, along with the PC version (selected retailers will be participating….we’re assuming at least Steam). The first beta opens in March; the second will occur in April. Everyone else will have to wait until June, so if you’d rather not, you know what to do. The Sinking City Talks All Things HP Lovecraft

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from The Sinking City, the upcoming open world investigation game from developer Frogwares Studios and publisher BigBen Interactive. They’re not quite ready to release another trailer, so they thought they’d discuss the inspiration behind it. In The Sinking City, you play a PI trying to make sense of the case he’s wound up trapped in. The setting is New England in the 1920s — the fictional city of Oakmont, Massachusetts. Oakmont has had some flooding issues lately…but that’s not the least of it. All that water is supernatural in origin, a by-product of the Lovecraftian monsters invading the city. A private investigator arrives to determine what’s up. Our fearless detective must explore the city, gather clues and figure out how to end the invasion. Frogwares holds HP Lovecraft and his creations in high esteem, and The Sinking City is intended as one giant adoring love letter to his works. Bigben Interactive To Distribute Werewolf: The Apocalypse Video Game

For the last two years, Cyanide Studio has been working on a video game version of the popular tabletop RPG Werewolf: The Apocalypse. We don’t know the exact date the game will be released, but we figure they must be getting closer, because today the studio announced they’ve landed a distribution deal. It’s Bigben Interactive — the same company that’s distributing The Sunken City by Frogwares. Alain Falc, Bigben’s CEO, released this statement upon the announcement: “We are thrilled to have reached this agreement which considers, in an equitable way, the different parties’ investments. This will allow Cyanide to keep the ball rolling on the game’s development and to give its numerous fans a really unique experience, in a universe that gamers are very fond of.” Werewolf: The Apocalypse was first announced by Paradox Interactive and Focus Home Interactive in January of 2017. “The intense action and desperate supernatural danger of Werewolf is a perfect fit for BigBen,” said Shams Jorjani, VP Business Development at Paradox. “And this is happening at

Developer Frogwares Studios and publisher BigBen Interactive put out a great new trailer today for their ambitious upcoming game The Sinking City. It’s an open world investigation game where you play a PI trying to make sense of the case he’s wound up trapped in. The setting is New England in the 1920s — the fictional city of Oakmont, Massachusetts. Oakmont has had some flooding issues lately…but that’s not the least of it. All that water is supernatural in origin, a by-product of the Lovecraftian monsters invading the city. A private investigator arrives to determine what’s up.
