Xbox One Is Coming To China On September 29
Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One will launch on September 29 in China. The console was originally scheduled to launch today, but Microsoft felt the console wasn’t ready to launch, saying “a bit more time to deliver the best experiences possible.” There will be 10 games at launch for Chinese gamers. They are: Forza Motorsport 5 Kinect Sports Rivals Powerstar Golf Zoo Tycoon Max: The Curse of Brotherhood Dance Central Spotlight Neverwinter Online Rayman Legends Trials Fusion Naughty Kitties from Chinese ID@Xbox developer, Coconut Island 70 other games are awaiting approval, Microsoft also announced. GameFY, Skype, and Game DVR functionality will all be available at launch, and Microsoft is partnering with Chinese media company BesTV. The Xbox One will be available at 4,000 stores, in 37 cities in China. The console can be purchased with the Kinect for ¥4299 RMB (approximately $700) or without the Kinect for ¥3699 RMB (approximately $600).
