For those who missed this weekend’s final Jodie Whittaker episode of Doctor Who, you only need to know two things: One, it was a total mess, and Two, the episode ended with Whittaker regenerating into…David Tennant, the Tenth Doctor. Again.
It’s been so long since the last time Killing Eve aired a new episode that I barely remember all the little espionage subplots going on. But in the grand scheme of things, that’s not important: the show’s really about a homicidal nut in glamorous clothes and the M16 agent obsessed with her (whether she admits it or not). The series finally returns at the end of this month to wrap up the whole story.
BBC announced today their hit spy comedy-drama Killing Eve will run until at least 2021. The second season was simulcast on both BBC America and AMC last spring; both networks will run Season 3 soon.
“Crisis. BIG crisis. SERIOUS CRISIS,” says the voiceover, while big brass instruments sting each utterance of the word. It must be a CW promo, right? Wrong — it’s The Doctor. And we’re sure she’s fine, actually. Her next word is “Kisses!”
