Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been out for seven months there has been announcements of DLC coming to the game. At launch the game caused massive amounts of controversy with their loot box system with prizes including weapons and items that can skew a match. As of late in an update they changed the content of these boxes to only be credits and cosmetics. However the damage has already been done to the game due to lack of timely action to fix the issue and disrespect towards fans in a Q&A.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is getting a lot of attention this weekend, yesterday at the EA Play Event (which is technically tied to E3) EA and DICE revealed a new trailer and details about DLC. Long story short, not only will the game have DLC, it’ll all be free. No pay-to-play it, no Season Pass, just freely given. Now, that raised some questions about whether there will be other kinds of purchases in the game, and that has now been confirmed.
While E3 technically hasn’t started yet, that didn’t stop Electronic Arts from unveiling a lot of games in a special event just before it, as well as going into detail about one of the most anticipated games of the the years in Star Wars Battlefront 2. DICE is once again taking us to a Galaxy Far, Far Away, but this time, there’s a story in it. At their special event, EA revealed a brand new trailer (see below) and new details on what to expect.
Update: EA has already begun taking down the leaked trailer from sites.
