Pearl Mackie Announced As New ‘Doctor Who’ Companion
A new companion is about to set foot on the greatest ship in all of time and space and now we know who. The BBC have announced that Brixton born actress Pearl Mackie will portray the brand new character Bill. The announcement comes in the form of a two minute clip as the Doctor attempts to save Bill from his eternal enemy the Daleks, all while trying to avoid the urge to kill her himself due to her enthusiastic chatter and jokes.
Soldak Entertainment announces Drox Operative
Eons ago the Drox ruled the galaxy through their mighty Operatives. These elite starship captains were trained to accomplish the impossible at whatever cost necessary. Whether employing stealth or brute force, they were always deadly. Using these Operatives, the Drox built a starlane system for quick travel amongst the stars, colonized and conquered millions of planets, and ruled the galaxy with an iron grip for over 100,000 years. Eventually realizing their Operators were a threat, they attempted to assassinate all of them. They failed. The following Galactic Civil War was devastating.
Dead Island back from the grave?
Originally announced back in 2007, Dead Island was assumed to be nothing but vaporware. Yesterday IGN teased about an already announced, but fogotten title that would be revealed once more. In all honesty Dead Island wasn't even on my radar. I would have guessed that the infamously known title Wardevil had a better chance of becoming gold.
