Angry Birds 2 Passes More Than 10 Million Downloads
In a post on the official Angry Birds Twitter account, Angry Birds franchise developer Rovio announced that the game’s long anticipated sequel, Angry Birds 2, has passed a pretty significant milestone. Now granted, this is not a huge sales milestone since Angry Birds 2 is free-to-play. The game does have pay elements and micro-transations, but Rovio has not revealed any financial stats of those elements for the game. However, the download mark is evident of the franchise’s enduring popularity among fans and players. Angry Birds 2 is a free-to-play game, so big download numbers are to be expected. Rovio did not share any information regarding how many of those 10 million players have spent real-world money on it.
