The Mandalorian & Grogu Head To The Big Screen
The Star Wars franchise has gone in some wild directions lately; the last few movies didn’t perform so hot, while a TV show on Disney+ became massively popular. Now things are coming full circle: Lucasfilm has announced The Mandalorian & Grogu, a feature film starring both characters. The feature will be produced and directed by Dave Favreau, the showrunner of the TV series. The ever-present Kathleen Kennedy and Dave Filoni will also be involved to some extent. “I have loved telling stories set in the rich world that George Lucas created,” says Favreau. “The prospect of bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen is extremely exciting.” As for a possible Season 4 of The Mandalorian, there is still no word on that, so…we presume this is what we’re getting instead.
