This dearest friend was a soft, sensitive, delicate, and lovely ballerina girl. There are 3 main characters in this exciting series.
Jung Eun Ha (played by Park So Dam) has fast car driving skills that could make professional race car drivers jealous. Yeah. She’s that good. But she is also a North Korean defector. With that kind of label, it might not have been easy for her to get a job. According to the results of a survey published by UCA News, dated February 2023: “North Korean defectors residing in South Korea face discrimination due to language barriers and negative perceptions about their country causing many to have psychological breakdowns”. The scriptwriters for Special Delivery added a dose of this painful reality to their fictional story line.
Woo Do-hwan started acting in 2011 and was able to land roles, playing lead and supporting characters in numerous films and television series. His fans patiently waited for him to complete his two-year mandatory military service. After being discharged from the military in 2022, he made a cameo appearance in the last episode of Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist Season 2 (2023), and played the lead role in Joseon Attorney: A Morality (2023); two historical period K-dramas. He was cast for the lead role in Bloodhounds, released in June 2023. Fans are delighted that he’s back!
Kim Woo-bin started acting in 2011 and no sooner than he had developed a fan base, 5+ years later his health took a turn for the worse. In 2017, he was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma, an aggressive form of cancer. He took time off to focus on his health. The good news is that the medical treatment he received has helped him to recover (Kim Woo-bin says he’s “clean” from cancer, …) and in 2022 he resumed his acting career. He completed three (3) projects in 2022: a film, Alienoid, and a TV series, Our Blues, both released in 2022; and Black Knight, which was released in 2023. Fans are more than overjoyed that he has returned to the screen.
Yoo Min-ho (played by So Ji-sub) is a suspect in the murder of his lover. He was arrested but later released because the arrest warrant was nullified. But that does not mean he is no longer a suspect. On the contrary, he is still the prime suspect and he needs to hire a defense lawyer. To get away from the news media and other prying eyes, he goes to stay in a secluded private residence, far from the crowds.
As a young child, Jin Jeong (played by Doh Kyung-soo, “100 Days My Prince”, “Swing Kids”) saw things that were unjust. He made up his mind to fight against this injustice by becoming a swordsman. The swordfighters in video games provided him with inspiration. The truths he learned from his father guided him on the right path. When he grew up, he could plainly see that people with wealth and power had rigged the justice system, in their favor. The “sword of justice” he planned to use would not be effective in eliminating crime and corruption.
Park Dong-woo (played by Yoo Ah-in, “Hellbound”) and his merry band are a bunch of young kids with special talent. Their talent is being able to customize automobiles to make them run faster than the iconic legendary Batmobile. They earn good money by using their skill to make deliveries of illegal goods. In addition, they know how to drive these fast cars without causing accidents, harm, or injury to themselves or others. Dong-woo and his friends are not ruthless criminals who commit all sorts of pernicious organized criminal mayhem. Still! They are breaking the law!
