It charmed audiences on Steam….now a robot named Fight, starring in A Robot Named Fight! has come to the Nintendo Switch. As the titular robot, you will search a scorched Earth for weapons while on a mission to defeat the fleshy monster of a thousand mouths known as the Megabeast. A Robot Named Fight was created solely by one man (named Matt Bitner), which makes it all the more impressive. “Bringing A Robot Named Fight! to the Nintendo Switch feels like a homecoming in a way,” says Matt. “Deep down, I always knew it would end up on a Nintendo platform. The game is a labor of love above all else – a living, breathing homage to the great Metroidvanias of the ‘80s and ‘90s.” This Switch version contains content built-in on launch that the Steam version didn’t have. Publisher Hitcents has announced A Robot Named Fight! Released first on Steam in 2017, where it received high praise, the sidescroller is now heading to Nintendo Switch (and Windows Store the same day). Look for it April 26! In A Robot Named Fight! you play as the titular robot, searching a scorched Earth for weapons while on a mission to defeat the fleshy monster of a thousand mouths known as the Megabeast. If you like roguelike, Metroidvania-style shooters, one upcoming game on the horizon that falls very much into that category is the indie title A Robot Named Fight. The upcoming game is due in September on Steam, and it was completely developed solely by designer Matt Bitner. PopGeeks recently had the chance to speak with Bitner about his upcoming game, that puts players into the role of an anonymous robot who is looking to defend a city under siege from lugubrious monsters called meat beats. If you like roguelike Metroidvania type games, you might want to look at the new, upcoming video game title, A Robot Named Fight. The upcoming game is due out on Steam later this year, and it was developed solely by Matt Bitner. His new game puts players into the role of an anonymous robot who has to defend a robot city that becomes under siege by some grotesque monsters called meat beasts. No single run for the game will be alike, and the game includes randomized items that will enable players to go deeper underneath the surface and find powers that are needed to beat the chief meat beasts called the Megabeast. Key features for the game including a new item order and intended route for every game run, over 50 in-game items and more than 50 enemies.
