Will Smith Exits Marcus Sakey’s Brilliance
Uh oh, it looks like Legendary Pictures is back to square one. It has been reported that Will Smith has decided to drop out of sci-fi movie Brilliance. The film is set to be directed by Julius Onah (The Girl is in Trouble, Big Man), and David Koepp (War of the Worlds, Jurassic Park, Spider-Man) is serving as the screenwriter. Noomi Rapace (Prometheus, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) is set to star in the Legendary Pictures adaptation. The American film production company is best known for churning out mega blockbusters such as Batman Begins, 300, The Dark Knight, Inception and Godzilla. Films currently in production include Jurassic World, Unbroken and Warcraft. In addition to producing films, Legendary Productions is also dabbling in marketing, game development, television production and comic book publishing.
