Bungie has revealed that the PC Destiny 2 beta will begin on August 28 and run through to August 31. The developer also outlined the minimum and recommended system requirements needed to run the beta. It’s important to note that these specs might not be indicative of what is required to play the full game on your system when it releases.

According to Bungie, the recent console Destiny 2 beta was the biggest that the company as ever hosted. Although they didn’t reveal full numbers, they did state that millions of players across the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live took part in testing the game over the short period that ti was available online.
Destiny 2 is set to release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide on September 6. A PC release is due to follow on October 24, a first for the series as the first title was only available on home consoles.
