SXSW Announces Winners of Their Game Awards! Dragon Age Takes GOTY!
At SXSW, numerous games took home numerous awards for gaming excellence, style, music, story, and more.
In the big category was Game of the Year winner Dragon Age: Inquisition. Though there were some other interesting winners. Shadow of Morder won numerous awards, further showing that this was a title beloved by both fans and critics. Smash Bros. Wii U won “Excellence in Multiplayer” beating other top opponents, including Call of Duty.
This War of Mine, the grim indie game that literally drops you in the horrors of war, got the “Cultural Innovation Award”, no doubt for its shocking realism of how war can really be.
