This is not confirmed in any way, but this picture (the one above) has been making the rounds in the last few hours. It seems to indicate that the Man of Steel could once again be getting his own video game. The above image has been put on the internet (personally found via Gamer Headlines) showing Superman in his New 52 outfit with a bio next to him. Why is so important? Well, it greatly resembles the style of bio sheet that WB Montreal used in their Batman: Arkham Origins game. Different colorings aside and all that.
Add to that, listings on WB Montreal that said they were looking making: “a new IP project for next generation game platforms.” They are also described as “a passionate dev team developing DC Comics-focused AAA games that evolve and celebrate the legendary brands of Warner Bros.”
Intrigued yet? Well, you should be because this is not only probably, it’s actually quite likely. With the “end” of the Arkham saga via Arkham Knight, it’s only logical that WB/DC would be up for making new DC Comics games featuring their other characters. Also, with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice coming out next year, this would (in potential) be a great came to capitalize on that hype and momentum.
Now yes, Superman has a horrible record with video games, but so did Batman. Now look at him. If WB Montreal can make this work, more power to them.
