Suda51 said No more Heroes III is the end of the series?
No More Heroes III is already out on the Nintendo Switch. I have a very busy life but I slowed down because I want to play this game. A decade of waiting has been worth it. Before the release of this sequel, I played every game in the series including the Spinoff Travis Strikes Back. No More Heroes III is pure fun and with the cliffhanger ending, I was hoping for a sequel or a DLC. I love Suda51 because he is willing to take a risk. He can kill off fan-favorite characters even if it may upset fans. He made a Tweet that made me sad because he is confirming this will be the last game of the series.
Suda51 made an announcement that No more Heroes 3 is Travis’ final adventure
No More Heroes Ⅲ has been released.
Thank you all so much for all your kind messages!
I truly hope everyone enjoys Travis Touchdown’s final battle.Goodbye, Travis.
Goodbye, No More Heroes.
Goodbye, fleeting moments and days.
Farewell, to all Travis Touchdowns everywhere! pic.twitter.com/W5j7TrKrGG— SUDA51/須田剛一 (@suda_51) August 27, 2021
Does this mean this is The last game in the series? I know that Suda51 has other projects in mind like making sequels for his other IPs or making new IPs. This man always challenges the convention that’s why his games develop Cult followings. Many people interpret this Tweet that this is Travis Touchdown’s final hurrah. Before he made this Tweet he have an interview that he has ideas for No more heroes 4. He wanted Travis to be like Rocky Balboa. So a decade from now, A No more heroes 4 is possible but Travis won’t be the main character. He will be the mentor.
NMH3 ended with a cliffhanger, unless we will have DLC the events after this game will skip. I do hope we get to have spin-offs starring Shinobu and Bad Girl because they are now a prominent part of the series.
While waiting for the fate of No More Heroes, I would like to see sequels for his other games like Shadows of the Damned and Lollipop Chainsaw.
