Star Wars: First Rogue One TV Spot Pops Up Online
Soon Star Wars Mania will be engulfing the general public yet again. In just a few short months, another live-action Star Wars movie will hit theaters in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The first TV spot for the film, with some new footage, has finally hit the web, and you can check out that video in the player below.
There’s a look at some new explosions and battle footage in the TV spot. Forest Whittaker’s character is seen ominously stating, “If you continue to fight, what will you become?” It also features the film’s tag line, “Hope begins with rebellion.” An interesting take on the franchise. Ultimately, it’s hard to imagine the characters who are looking to steal the plans for the Death Star will be able to escape what is essentially a suicide mission unscathed.
The hype and promotion for the new movie will certainly be ramping up in the coming months. It’s good to see new footage getting ramped out for the special, especially since the new trailer for the film that debuted at this year’s Star Wars Celebration in London was never actually released online. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on December 16, 2016.
