Spongebob: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated Getting Two Special Editions
Last E3, THQ Nordic revealed it was working on a remake of the Gamecube-era title Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom. Similarly to the Crash and Spyro trilogy remakes released recently, as well as the Link’s Awakening remake, this will basically be the same game only with more polish and polygons.
THQ knows there’s a crowd hungry to replay one of their childhood favorites, so they’re sweetening the deal twice over by offering the game in two different collector’s editions. First off is the Shiny Edition, which costs $149.99 and comes with everything listed below:
- An 8″/20cm SpongeBob Figurine with Golden Spatula and flexible tongue
- Wallstickers
- 6 Lithographs
- SpongeBob SquarePants tennis socks
- The Game itself
But for those Spongebob fans who are TRULY loaded up with cash, THQ offers the F.U.N. Edition, which sets the average consumer back three hundred dollars and contains all THIS:
- An 8″/20cm SpongeBob Figurine with Golden Spatula and flexible tongue
- A 7″/18cm Figurine of Patrick
- The Sandy 8″/20cm Figurine
- Wallstickers
- A set of Tiki Keyrings
- 6 Lithographs
- SpongeBob SquarePants tennis socks
- The Game itself
We’re not here to tell you what to do. Except those times when we know better than you. I mean, you COULD spend $300 on one game, but if you don’t own a Switch yet, seriously…get that instead.
THQ still hasn’t affixed an exact release date to Spongebob: Battle For Bikini Bottom Rehydrated yet, but it’s coming in 2020 and preorders are open now.
