South Park: Creators Share Details on New Game
In light of South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone appearing at the “20th Years of South Park” panel today at the San Diego Comic-Con, Ubisoft revealed a new behind-the-scenes video for the next upcoming South Park game, South Park: The Fractured But Whole.
The new game is a follow-up to the highly successful South Park: The Stick of Truth. The new video features Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the minds and voices behind South Park, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process for the game. Parker and Stone took a very hands-on approach for the game, and completely wrote the whole story. During today’s South Park panel, Parker said they wrote about a 200-page script for the game.
So far the game looks fantastic. This looks like a real treat for South Park fans. Plus all the satire on the comic book superhero genre is a lot of fun, done in South Park’s caustic style.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole is due out on December 6. The game will be available as a digital download and a physical release at retailers for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. Also available will be two collectibles, the RC Coon Bundle exclusively from Amazon and the Fart Pillow exclusively from GameStop.
