Ship of Heroes: New Mission Demo Video Released
A new Mission Demo video was released this week for the upcoming game Ship of Heroes. You can check out the new pre-alpha video in the player below.
The new video showcases a new environment that’s fully Physics-Based Reality (PBR). The developers are promising to build a game with a high level of realism compared to other hero-themed video games, and it’s being built with Unreal Engine 4. How successful some of these lofty goals are remain to be seen. This footage does show some new effects and power sets. But, it doesn’t really sell you on how in-depth and unique the game will be.
So far, the game still looks very rough and less than impressive. The environments definitely look a lot larger this time around, showcasing a lot of large interior spaces. Hopefully, as the game gets more polished, it will start to take place and look like a more exciting hero RPG or tactical strategy game.
Ship of Heroes is set to begin its Alpha testing phase at the end of 2017. By that time, hopefully there will be a better picture for the game’s release period and when players can actually get their hands on it, along with potential launch platforms.
