Miracleman is one of the more curious stories in the case of comics. It was created back in 1954, then taken over by Alan Moore, and then helmed by two legends in Neil Gaiman and Mark Buckingham, and the story they made wowed people. But, then the comic fell into legal trouble after the publisher went out of business, and so the “current” story called “The Silver Age” never got to end.

Years later, Marvel bought the rights to Miracleman, and have been slowly working to bring it back in full. At San Diego Comic Con, Senior Editor Nick Lowe noted that Marvel is still talking with the two about making the comic, and that Buckingham is actually redrawing the entire Silver Age storyline. However, despite all this progress, there is no release date for it, and even Marvel doesn’t know when it will come out.
