At San Diego Comic Con, the cast and crew of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow took the stage for what’s going to happen in Season 03. Last season was truly a breakout one for the show, and season 3 is set to go even bigger. First off, the Legends will be challenged by their former leader Rip Hunter, who has set up the Time Bureau to try and truly save the time stream.
“Last season, the Legends were the only game in town… now they’re sort of competing with the best and the brightest… the existential question for our guys are, ‘How do we fit into this world?’” asked Executive Producer Phil Klemmer.
The cast is also going to have a new addition via Zari, who will change how they feel about their mission.
But that’s not all, there will be many returning characters, including the aforementioned Rip Hunter, but also Damien Darhk…and Captain Cold in a recurring role.
Now, one fan questions was about whether the fan-favorite character Constantine, played by Matt Ryan could enter the show:
“We’re discussing it now.” Klemmer noted
“We talked to Matt [Ryan], and Matt’s currently busy doing something right now… but we’ve had really good conversations with Matt,” Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim added.
Constantine has been an ask to be a regular on a CW show since his NBC show got canceled. Now, he will be having his own animated series via CW Seed, which could be what he’s busy with. Hopefully, though, he’ll get the chance to come.
Legends of Tomorrow arrives October 10th.
