SDCC 2017: Krypton To Have Classic DC Heroes And Villains
Krypton is set to arrive on Syfy in 2018. This “prequel series” to the Superman mythos is one that focuses around Supermans grandfather who is trying not only to save the House of El, but the planet as well. At San Diego Comic Con, a panel for the upcoming show was done, and in it, DC Comics own Geoff Johns revealed some very interesting things about what’s coming.
Mainly, two classic DC Comics heroes will be a part of the show in the forms of Hawkwoman and Adam Strange. If you’re curious how these clearly modern characters are in a time period of Krypton before Superman is even born, it has to do with the plot itself of the series, or at least the first season: “it’s about a conspiracy from the present that’s traveled back in time to Krypton to prevent the birth of Superman.”
But heroes from the present are the only ones showing up, as Johns revealed that legendary Superman villains Doomsday and Brainiac are also going to arrive:
Executive producer Cameron Welsh noted “What we love about Brainiac is that not only is he an incredible foil for anyone he faces, but also he has a really deep history dating back to his family on Colu. He is the nexus point between man and machine, which is a very relevant thing to be talking about now. He’s a very real character.”
And so, it appears as though the Krypton show is going to be one to look out for when it arrives next year.

This movie reminds me of the original Terminator movie. Note, in that one, the bad Terminator, as opposed to the good one in the 2nd film, travels back in time to destroy John Conner's mother while another guy travels back in time to save her.
However, though, of course, it probably isn't exactly the same. Can anyone see a few differences?
