SDCC 2017: Harley Quinn Vs. Joker Film Possible
One of the biggest reasons that Suicide Squad was made was that it gave a unique opportunity to introduce Harley Quinn and the Joker in a way that wasn’t completely tied to Batman. And while Leto’s Joker was hit-or-miss because of his low screen time, many agree that Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn was really good. No doubt that response was why DC Comics greenlit a Gotham City Sirens film. But now, ScreenRant is reporting that this could grow even more.
Apparently, DC Comics is planning a film that’ll pit Harley Quinn vs. The Joker. While this may sound weird, as the end of Suicide Squad should The Joker busting Harley out of Belle Reve, the comics have shown that Harley knows how bad Joker can be to her, and often times their relationship is seen as very abusive. So it’s very possible that this film could come after Sirens, and push for Harley to be her own woman.
All eyes now are on San Diego Comic Con, where Warner Bros. will take the stage Saturday to talk about films both coming and upcoming.
