SDCC 2014: Holy Home Video Batman, it’s Batman: The Complete Television Series Details!
Just in time for the era of home video to end, as everything seems to be rapidly heading for streaming, we have the Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder swinging in for one last hurrah. As part of the Comic-Con International festivities in San Diego, Warner Brothers Home Entertainment has released images and details for it’s upcoming release of the campy classic Batman TV show.
It seemed like rights issues would be the one foe the Dynamic Duo could not defeat, but now everything has been smoothed out and a deluxe 120 episode complete series release will be out Nov. 11. It will also be pricey enough to make even millionaire Bruce Wayne wince a bit. The MSRP for the Blu-Ray limited edition is $269.97.
But what you get in the individually-numbered set is loaded with extras, including:
- An exclusive Hot Wheels Replica Batmobile
- Adam West Scrapbook – featuring never-before-seen photos from Adam’s own archives
- 44 Vintage Trading Cards
- Ultraviolet Digital Copy of all 120 episodes
- Episode guide – includes synopsis of all episodes, photos from the series and a personal letter from Adam West to the fans
The sets will also include a King Tut’s horde of bonus and behind-the-scenes content, including:

If you don’t have Bruce Wayne bucks, there’s also a slightly cheaper DVD complete series edition at $199.70 MSRP, or you can just get the complete first season on its own for $39.98 MSRP.
