Scream (2022) also known as Scream 6 is the 6th film of the Scream Franchise. Who would have thought a movie franchise with 6 movies will happen because of Easter Unlimited, Inc’s Halloween costume. A variation of the costume also got used for the Scary movie franchise. Before the hit 90s Horror movie franchise, Ghost face is just a Halloween costume sold at stores. It became an iconic costume the moment it got used for the First Scream movie. The Original Survivors of the movie franchise, Courteney Cox will reprise her roles as Gale Weathers but they are not the central character anymore. This will be the first Scream Movie to not feature the iconic Final Girl Sidney Prescott(Neve Campbell) as her character got her closure in Scream (2022)
Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega) will now be the lead role. A new killer wears the iconic Ghost face mask and he seem to have a fondness killing the friends of Tara Carpenter. Usually when a horror movie franchise is on it’s 6th film, the hype is dead. Well not in the case of this film because Jenna Ortega is in the lead role. Her performance in Wednesday made a household name out of her. Though this movie is as dark a her previous project, it s a refreshing change to see her play a character with vulnerability and emotions. Tara is the total opposite of Wednesday.

Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera) and her little Sister Tara (Jenna Ortega) moves to the Big Apple. So they can forget the events they survived from the previous film. The sister wants to move on from the tragedy of Woodsboro and the face paced like in New York could a great way for Survivors to move on. A New Killer will use the mantle of Ghostface in the cities of New York. Scream 6 will be in theaters this March 10, 2023.
