Scott Cawthon Announces Five Nights At Freddy’s 4
So everyone was wondering if Five Nights At Freddy’s 3 would be the final game in the series, creating a trilogy. Nope. There’s not much willingness to stick to trilogies these days anyway.
This Halloween Scott Cawthon, creator of the first three Freddy’s games, will go to the well at least one more time, he announced today. The full title here is Five Nights At Freddy’s 4: The Final Chapter, which you can be forgiven for being a LITTLE skeptical about.
Nothing is known about the story or the placement in the timeline for this new game, which was revealed with a single image on Scott’s website, scottgames.com (the image in question is shown above).
You can also be forgiven for not realizing the very first Freddy’s game was released less than a year ago. Yeah, he’s been pumping them out that fast, and why wouldn’t he? The three games that exist in the series are still huge sellers, remanining in the iTunes top 20 to this day. Warner Bros. has also purchased movie rights to the series, which is in development.
Five Nights At Freddy’s 4: The Final Chapter will be released October 31, 2015. Five Nights At Freddy’s 5: A New Beginning will probably be released January 25, 2016.
