Sacrilege Appears On DVD And Digital March 16
Devilworks is preparing the new thriller Sacrilege for release on DVD and on-demand services later this month.
A group of giggly teens are headed up to the hills for a weekend-long party celebrating the Summer Solstice. There will be those in attendance who take the pagan ritual seriously, but these girls are just there to have fun. Only problem is…the goddess those cultists are worshiping is real, she demands human sacrifices….and THEY’RE IT!
In typical horror movie fashion, none of the teens figure this out until it’s too late. The goddess has the power to make their nightmares come true, and the girls soon find themselves being attacked by bugs and seeing hallucinations in the mirror. Plus, the cultists are now after them for the sacrificial ritual. You can say the party’s over!
Sacrilege stars Tamaryn Payne (Stalled, Vendetta), Emily Wyatt (Mission of Honor, Rise Of The Foot Solidier: The Heist), Naomi Willow (NSR: The Jade, Bonded by Blood 2), Emma Spurgin Hussey (The Curse of Hobbes House, A Werewolf in England), Rory Wilton (An English Haunting, Fisherman’s Friends) and Sian Abrahams (Listen, Complete Strangers). It was was written and directed by David Creed and produced by Mark Kenna for the British production company Bad Blood Films. Look for it March 16 on DVD and digital platforms.
The pagan cult horror follows a group of young women during celebrations for the Summer solstice, as they are offered up as a sacrifice to a mysterious pagan goddess, who has the ability to sense their greatest fears. Using this power against them, she turns their nightmares into a horrifying reality.
