Russian Doll Season 2, Now with Time Travel!
Russian Doll Season 2 premieres today on Netflix, and the stakes are higher than re-spawning thousands of times. In the first season of the Russian Doll, Nadia Vulvokov(Natasha Lyonne) discovers she has infinite life. On her Birthday, she became accident-prone, and she died repeatedly. She re-spawns at the beginning of the day. You know, when video game characters die, she goes back to a check point. She then Met Alan Zaveri (Charlie Barnett), who also suffers from the same condition. Together they escaped the loop, became lovers, and escaped being accident-prone. I would have cheated sports betting and the lottery if I had her ability.

So what will be more chaotic than having Infinite lives while being a magnet to death? Involuntary Time travel! Time traveling is cool if you have control, but it won’t be if you don’t.
Nadia was on a train ride, and she fell asleep. When She wakes up, she notices New York looking different than how she remembers. People are dressing like they are cast members of Stranger Things. That moment made her realize that she was now stuck in the 1980s.
Now she is an involuntary time traveler, and she will try to figure out a Mystery of her newly discovered curse. Charlie will also be transported to the past, and together, they will try to figure out how to escape this new situation. Their Infinite lives are also back in the works because they are about to experience different ways to die again.
Someone asked Nadia if she is a time traveler, and she said that she is more of a time prisoner.
Nadia’s Friend Maxine (Greta Lee), who prepared her Birthday party in the first season, will also become an involuntary participant in this new misadventure. If we have a Season 3, Nadia might get the ability to travel in the multiverse.
