Rome: Total War Set To Release On iPad
Rome: Total War, one of the most highly acclaimed entries in the long-running strategy series, is coming to iPad for the very first time. An announcement trailer was released for the game, along with information that the port will be handled by Feral Interactive rather than the original developers Creative Assembly.
The trailer lets players know they will be able to play the game for the first time in their hands, stating: “History’s greatest empire, now in your hands. Experience the full glory of ROME: Total War as you rule the ancient world from your iPad.”
The port appears to be the full version of the title rather than a slimmed down version made especially for mobile devices. It will include the original campaign, 11 factions, a touch-screen interface, and upgraded visuals. Also included in the package will be the downloadable content packs of Barbarian Invasion and Alexander.
Only those with a device that is more recent than the iPad Air or iPad Mini 2 will be able to download the game and there is no word in the release date.
