Rocket League on Xbox One Reaches 1 Million Players
Rocket League has pretty a pretty significant milestone for its Xbox One version. Rocket League developer Psyonix announced on the game’s official Twitter account that Rocket League has passed more than one million players for the Xbox One version of the game. If that number does not seem that big, consider that the Xbox One version only launched last month on February 17. That means in just under three weeks, the game has already had more than one million unique players on Xbox One.
The accolades seem to continue to rack up for the popular game. In addition, it reportedly has more than 12 million players on the Windows PC version of the game (via Gamespot). In addition, has reportedly sold four million copies across Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC versions of the game.
The announcement comes right before Psyonix and Warner Bros. Interactive are releasing a special, new Batmobile DLC for Rocket League, where players can use a Batmobile in the game based on the car from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. That DLC arrives on Tuesday, March 8. The new DLC will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC versions of Rocket League.
YES! We have officially eclipsed more than 1 MILLION unique players on @Xbox One! Thank you very much for continuing to support us!
