An enhanced version of the PC game Robocraft is set to launch on Xbox One and Windows 10 next year. Robocraft Infinity will also be a part of the Play Anywhere initiative by Microsoft, allowing players to play the game on both of its platforms and transfer progress between the two seamlessly.
Speaking in a statement on Xbox Wire, game director Mark Simmons stated: “Robocraft Infinity will feature that same compelling gameplay mix, enhanced with an all-new progression system, massive combat balance redux, full controller support, achievements, 4k visuals optimized for Xbox One X and more features to be revealed over the coming months.”
The online-focused game tasks players with building their own customizable robots before taking them into a multiplayer arena to battle against other players. An alpha version of the game was released in 2013 and the title has grown in popularity since then, with the game now having almost half a million players.
