Retro City Rampage (finally) releases October 9th for PS3, Vita & PC
Retro City Rampage has been another indie game which has seen many, many delays over the course of a couple years, but now it’s finally set to launch on PS3, PS Vita and PC on October 9th in North America. Xbox and Wii will have to wait, though.
The game will set you back $14.99, which will grant you both a PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita copy. PC owners can buy the game from Steam, GOG or from V-Blank’s website, which will get you a DRM-free copy as well as either a Steam or GOG key.
The Xbox 360 and WiiWare releases of Retro City Rampage, however, will instead release sometime later in 2012.
Retro City Rampage is a 8-bit open world crime game which originally started life as a GTA III de-make. The game takes a lot of influence from the GTA series, as well as NES era games and many ’80s films and will let players do all the usual open world crime game things… in 8-bits.

I’ve been very excited for this game. It even features guest spots from game stars like Splosion Man!
