Resident evil: Infinite Darkness introduces new characters
Netflix just dropped the 2nd trailer of Resident evil: Infinite Darkness.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness stars Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield but this time for television. It is their third adventure together and they are as platonic as ever. This series the 25th-anniversary presentation of this iconic franchise.
Leon and Claire first met on Resident Evil 2 during the outbreak of Racoon city.
They met again during the canonical movie Resident Evil Degeneration. In this CGI film, Claire and an orphan girl got caught up in a bioterrorism attack at an Airport. While Leon is trying to stop the Bioterrorist Curtis Miller.
Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello reprise their roles as Leon and Claire from the remake of Resident Evil 2.
It is Amazing now Nick sounded like Paul Haddad’s version of Leon in the Resident Evil 2 remake. This time he sounded like Resident evil version 4 of Leon. New faces join Leon and Claire to stop another zombie apocalypse.
The first new character is Jason, He is a Federal Agent suffering from PTSD. He is a survivor of a civil war in the fictional nation of Penamstan.
The second new character is Shen May. She is Federal agent who is a computer whiz. I have a feeling that she will remind Leon of a certain Asian lady in a red dress. Most people who watched the trailer had mistaken her for Ada Wong. Leon’s one and only eternal love interest.
President Graham is the most interesting addition to this series. This show is set 2 years after Resident evil 4. He is the father of Ashley Graham, the damsel Leon rescued in Resident evil 4. I wonder if Ashley will make an appearance on this program. It has been a long time since she debuted in Re4.
If this show will be successful, I hope some abandoned characters will make an onscreen comeback. because Chris Redfield is overexposed already.
