Reginald the Vampire, in a world of sexy fit Vampires, there is this guy

 Reginald the Vampire stars Jacob Batalon. A lot of you mostly remember him as Ned. He is Peter Parker’s burly and nerdy best friend from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We now see a different side of him in this TV show. A show where he breaks the mold of a vampire. The media used to portray Vampires as horrifying and grotesque. Then came Anne Rice. Her novels depicted them as attractive hunters who used their seduction to catch their prey.  Also there is Twilight, a franchise that gave us sparkling vampires.

As a result of the movie adaptations of her books, which starred gorgeous actors as vampires, the pale undead became more popular than ever. The majority of vampires adhered to the Eurocentric beauty ideals. Therefore, it is a welcome change to have an Asian Vampire play the primary role in a television drama about vampires.

Reginald (Jacob Batalon)  is an ordinary dork who are mostly ignored by people. He always glare at his crush (Em Haine) and she never notice him at all. Fortunately, his fate will change Because a bunch of vampires decided to make him their next meal, instead of killing him, it converted him into a vampire.

Trying to predict how things will turn out is nearly impossible.The Universe conspired and give him a fate that is either a gift or a curse. As a result of this eternal youth, Reginald is now immortal and possesses  powers most humans dream about in their fantasies.

Reginald is a Pacifist so killing a person to survive is something he cannot fathom. He will try to pay a man money to give him some blood. Will he give in to his instinct as a vampire?, or will he try to fight to keep his humanity despite his condition?
