For the last few weeks or so, Razer has been teasing an announcement, and proclaiming “PC Gaming Isn’t Dead”. Well, today Razer unveiled the first ever……wait, gaming laptop? Yeah, apparently Razer has been living under a bridge for the last 10 years or so. To be fair, it’s not a terrible announcement at first glance, however when you begin to peel the layers back it becomes woefully obvious how awful it really is.
Essentially this product, which is suppose to take a shot at consoles amounts too nothing more than an extremely over-priced gaming laptop. Who is this product targeted to anyways? No intelligent PC gamer is going to drop $2800 on this, especially when they can buy a much better computer for half the price.
PC gaming might not be dead, but with continued announcements like this, it might as well get a long rope and hang itself. What? Someone had to say it.
