Ratchet & Clank head Into the Nexus this holiday season
Still pondering over PlayStation’s “When Worlds Collide” riddle? Well, tell your brain to stand down; Insomniac Games is developing a new Ratchet & Clank game entitled Into the Nexus.
Brimming with crazier weaponry, niftier gadgets and stranger interstellar worlds, Into the Nexus is a single-player-only epilogue to the Future saga. It opens with Ratchet and Clank transporting twin villains Vendra and Neftin Prog to the Vartax Detention Center, but when the voyage reaches haunted space the menaces mange to escape their escorts – leaving our cat-like hero and his whimsical android buddy stranded in a seriously scary sector of the galaxy.
Available exclusively on PlayStation 3 later this year for $29.99/€29.99 (UK pricing TBC), Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus is Insomniac’s biggest downloadable game to date, dwarfing the size of both Quest for Booty and Full Frontal Assault (a.k.a. Q-Force). For more information, head over to the US PlayStation Blog, and keep a close eye on the Insomniac Twitter feed and Facebook page for updates.
