Double Eleven and Introversion Software officially revealed some new DLC for Prison Architect in the Psych Ward DLC. You can check out the reveal trailer for the new DLC for the prison simulator game in the player below.
The new DLC will be exclusive to console owners for the game, and it was developed by Double Eleven, who developed the console versions of the game for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The DLC will be available for Xbox One on June 9.
The Psych Ward DLC pack will open up the prisons to the Criminally Insane. This is a new security class that has different requirements to the regular genpop class. Players will have access to a rehabilitation and treatment facility. Players can even hire a highly educated psychologist to take part in consultations with inmates. There will also be a number of new challenges and problems with the DLC pack.
Other features for the DLC pack include new room types like padded cells and also the Breakout! preference setting which allows players to turn up the frequency of their prisoner tunnel attempts. There are also new new Wardens players can select, including Hawk Hartman and Dr. Slugworth. There are also two new pre-built prison options and two new buildings to use in the Prison Warden mode.
Prison Architect is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Psych Ward DLC is out now on PlayStation, and it hits Xbox One on Friday.
