Potion Craft Launches On Steam Early Access
There are usually potion shops in RPGs where you can buy bottled spells for both offensive and defensive purposes, but what’s it like on the other end of the counter? In the new game Potion Craft from publisher tinyBuild and developer NicePlay, you can take up the practice of magic making as you brew up potions in your alchemy shop.
Each recipe requires exact ingredients, and the townspeople you’re trying to please have specific demands. Good thing you have an Enchanted Garden where the mystic plants that power your potions grow. Follow the instructions and you’ll have a full stock of wares in no time. It’s also possible to stumble on even better or more powerful potions through sheer luck, so don’t be afraid to experiment.
The best thing is that you don’t need to write down those special discoveries…you can save them to your recipe book with one click. Don’t forget to tend to your garden….proper care will result in bigger, better and more powerful herbs and fungi.
Potion Craft is a work in progress. In future updates, NicePlay will be adding more maps and potion bases, a queue of visitors that dynamically changes based on your reputation, more effects, upgrades to the garden, and a fully operational deluxe-sized Alchemy Machine to let you create the most powerful brews imaginable. The base version of the game is now available on Steam Early Access.
